Psychotherapy for Female College Students
It’s not uncommon for college-aged women to feel overwhelmed by the stress of school and the responsibilities of being a young adult. Many state that they are not coping well with everything they have going on and want to learn coping skills now, while they are still young. Oftentimes, these individuals look like they have it all together on the outside but actually struggle with low self-confidence, anxiety or depression, homesickness, patterns of poor decision making, difficulties balancing academic responsibilities while wanting to have a full and fun college experience.
My decision to become a psychologist stems from my own experiences with psychotherapy as a college student! Being a woman and a college student brings a unique set of challenges that can impact mental health. Psychotherapy empowered me to become more capable and confident and taught me how to cope with life’s challenges. I’d like to help you do the same.
I offer therapy both in-person and via telehealth. Because I want you to have the best experience possible, I keep the number on my caseload limited. Strong women need therapy too and you deserve to live a peaceful and joyful life. If you’re ready to take the next step towards growth, empowerment, and self-improvement, contact me now to inquire about availability and to see if we’re a good fit for one another.
